What's new as of 7/19/08 Rusty Pride Visits Nabesna
What a surprise! Rusty Pride, who hunted sheep with us in 2002, "stopped by" Nabesna on his way north to go caribou hunting in the Brooks Range. He presented to Gennie Ellis a beautiful diamond breast cancer awareness ribbon pin. It was a raffle item to benefit cancer research, and the winner, Mr. George O'Shea graciously gave it to Rusty to present to me. I am overwhelmed and humbled by this lovely gift. Thank you Mr. O'Shea, Mr. and Mrs. Rusty Pride, and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Larsen and everyone who bought tickets for this pin. As a breast cancer survivor, let me say "Life is good!"
